Sri Prathyangira Parameshwari Mandiram – A Spiritual Bliss in Hyderabad

Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi is a powerful Devi who is said to have destroyed Sarabheswara’s arrogance. Sarabheswara is an ugra avatar of Lord Siva.

Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi is a very powerful manifestation of the divine Mother with a powerful energy that can repel the evil energies generated through witchcraft. Assuming a terrible form, Pratyangira Devi appears in the form of a man-lion with a dark complexion, red eyes and four hands holding a trident, a serpent and a hand drum.

Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi is also called as 'Artharvana Bhadra Kali' as she is the guardian of our Atharvena Vedam that holds the secret of Mantras, Tantras and Yantras from good to evil.

Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi is present everywhere and protects all her devotees and all those who seek solace in her. People all over worship and seek blessings against negative energies.

Prathyangara Devi Homam is performed for the destruction of any negative forces like disease, misfortune, obstacles, rivalry and regaining of power.

People worship the Goddess Prathyangara Devi for curing all their illnesses, for preventing major accidents and any other kind of health issues caused by poisoning. It is also believed that worshipping this Goddess helps in the removal of all mental blocks.

This all-powerful Sri Prathyangira Parameshwari Mandiram is located in Hyderabad (Sri Rama Krishna Puram, Kothapet) under the aegis of Kurtallam Sri Siddheswari Peetam.

The temple has a very tranquil and serene atmosphere giving the much-needed spiritual treat to those who visit the temple.

The vishesha aaratis on Tuesday and Fridays are a visual treat to the devotees immersing them totally in spiritual bliss. This is a 'must visit' place in Hyderabad for those who seek a spiritual treat.
