A Haven for Hindu Epics – Surendrapuri, Hyderabad

Surendrapuri is a one-stop destination where you can see the epitome of cultural, artistic and sculptural excellence. The whole exhibition was built up to bring attention to Indian epics, or more particularly Hindu epics. It was built by Kunda Satyanarayana in memory of his child Surendra who passed away. Referred to as Kunda Satyanarayana Kala Dhamam, it contains complete replicas of all the Hindu Sactuaries in India. Visit the life-size replicas of temples from various parts of India, standing all in a row. Spend some time admiring the colorful statues of Gods and Goddesses engaged in visual narratives from the Hindu epics. Get lost amidst the vivid frames from Mahabharata and Ramayana or gawk as Gods and demons churn the ocean for the nectar of immortality at Kunda Satyanarayana Kaladhamam.
